Govt Relations & Policy
Overview:
The IAM Government Relations, Public Policy & Civic Engagement Committee was established in 2014 to enhance the Minnesota Indian American community’s relationship with elected officials and increase civic engagement within the community. While this committee touches on many different aspects of community improvement, the main focus is Advocacy Leadership for Indian American causes at the community and all levels of government (Federal, State, County & City). The committee works to build long term connections and partnerships that advance the mission and values of IAM.
