The India Association of Minnesota (IAM) invites you to join its annual IndiaFest event - a celebration of the rich heritage, traditions, diversity, and culture of India. This FREE event is open to all Minnesotans.

Given the COVID situation and guidelines from the State, IndiaFest 2020 will be a virtual event.

We have a unique format this year with an extended festival spread over multiple weeks starting on American Independence Day, July 4th through Indian Independence Day on August 15th.

Prelim Highlights of the 2020 festival:

  • Flag Hoisting: Pay respects to the United States and India - world's two largest democracies - with hurling of flags and singing of national anthems
  • Cultural: Immerse yourself in colorful Classical, Semi-Classical, Bollywood and regional solo and group performances
  • Exhibits: Visit booths with decoration, traditions, and culture from various regions of India, showcasing the diversity of India
  • Activities: Fun virtual activities for adults and kids 
  • Bazaar: Shop for traditional Indian clothing and accessories
  • Student Scholarships: Five student scholarships to be given at the event
  • Food: Enjoy delicious cuisines from Twin Cities Indian restaurants
