Highlights of the festival
National Anthems: Performed by young talented artists.
Student Achievement Awards: Five awarded to High School students
Food: Delicious cuisine served from popular Twin Cities Indian restaurants.
Culture: Three of the biggest Indian dance and theater groups based in Minnesota performed at this year’s event.
Exhibits & Parade: Booths displayed decoration, traditions, and culture from various regions of India, showcasing the diversity of India. The diversity in India wsas great display at the parade.
Activities: Fun activities for adults and kids.
Bazaar: Traditional Indian clothing, jewelry, and accessories.
This activity is made possible by voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board and Minnesota Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
